What you’ll do

  • Check and rectify all the repairs, maintenance and construction works as directed which reflects on the standard of the hotel
  • Ensure that all users are provided with the necessary support during their day-to-day activities
  • Provide day-to-day services to the end-users including the connection of PC’s and laptop’s on the hotel network, managing software deployments, etc. to ensure compliance with pre-defined IT standards and policies
  • Reply to the requests for assistance from end-users, either colleagues or guests, according to the tone of voice and policies and procedures of the Hotel, using both telephone and email
  • Update all call requests and raise the respective tickets, so as to support the provision of an end-user oriented, efficient and cost-effective service to internal clients
  • Provide solutions to simple technical issues of hardware and software while escalating more complex issues to the IT Manager so as to facilitate their fast and accurate resolution
  • Contribute to the training of end-users on basic IT applications
  • Respond to guest and colleague queries in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure the security of all hotel data in accordance with company standards
  • Maintains an updated IT knowledge to enable continuous improvement to the services offered to users
  • Create user accounts when required, allocate necessary access to users
  • Ensure that all requests to the IT Department are logged
  • Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

What you’ll do 

  • Manage the Reservations team & all rooms reservations processes for the hotel 
  • Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly 
  • Manage the Reservations team to meet and exceed budgeted targets 
  • Train and develop the Reservations team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest and customer service

  • Follow up on e-mail and phone requests regarding accommodation 
  • Process, confirm or modify room reservations and send relevant confirmation to guests 
  • Assign rooms to each guest and update this in the system 
  • Keep the front office department updated at all times for any changes in the systems during the operation of the hotels

  • Monitor price parity and availability across all channels

What you’ll do

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the hotel
  • Use of Front Desk systems (PMS, WebHotelier, Booking Channels)
  • Register and check guests in
  • Escort the guests to their rooms
  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Verify guests’ payment method
  • Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Complete and maintain any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management
  • Close guests accounts and check guests out
  • Maintain a neat and orderly Front Desk and Reception area
  • Keep inventory of Front Office supplies stock
  • Perform other clerical Receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, etc

What we are looking for

  • Previous work experience as a Front Office Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent, Concierge or similar role, ideally in a 5* hotel environment
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Knowledge of any additional language will be considered as an asset
  • Experience in Hotel Program (PMS)
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word etc)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork spirit and customer service attitude
