Here, the meal unfolds slowly, as it should. A thoughtful selection of traditional Kefalonian meze arrives, each dish a tribute to the island’s land and sea. Sample tender octopus, charcoal-kissed and drizzled with olive oil; creamy fava, silken and golden; and savory kreatopita, a delicate phyllo parcel filled with spiced minced meat. Fresh-caught seafood, wild greens, and the island’s prized cheeses make their appearance, accompanied by crusty bread made for dipping and sharing.
Alongside this feast of flavours, we pour a curated selection of local wines. The crisp, mineral notes of Robola cut through the richness of fried calamari. A bold, sun-ripened Mavrodaphne finds its match in aged hard cheese and sweet preserved fruits. Each pairing is intentional, designed to elevate both the dish and the vintage.
